Have you ever asked yourself, what do I really want in life? Why am I here? Why do or don’t I have the things I want? The simple answer to most of those questions will be money. Here is a simple but very real test! Ask yourself the question of “why” 10 to 15 times after your answers. Example:
* What do I want in life? Money
* Why? Because I will be able to buy the things I can’t afford.
* Why can’t I afford them? Because I don’t make enough at work.
* Why don’t I Make enough at work? Because I just started this position.
* Why? Because I was in a relationship and the one I loved didn’t want me to work.
* WHY DID YOU ALLOW THEM TO NOT LET YOU WORK?
ANYWAY! You get it? If you answer with total honesty, you may not like the final answer that will be provided. This answer will be so pure that it will either force you to change, or it will force you to back away and develop another layer to mask what you are really worth. If you do decide to take the most painful route and face your imperfections face to face, then you will quickly realize that all your pain and sorrow stems from these deeply hidden issues. The good thing is that once you know the issue and are willing to face it, you can cure it quickly.
All people with “TRUE POWER” know what author Doris Mortman said, “Until you make peace with who you are, you will never be content with what you have. “Thanks for your support of me on twitter @TheSharkDaymond and on my new show ‘Shark Tank’ on ABC Sunday nights @ 9pm. Please enjoy the week.

FAILURE…This week, think about how many times you have failed in life. I don’t care who you are or where you come from, we have all had the feeling of failing at something one time or another. The question is, did you let failure stop you? If so, why?
I’m sure when you were a child and failed, you tried and tried again, till you succeeded. Your first attempts to walk, talk and eat as a child certainly all ended in failure, but you never gave up, because as a child you had no fear of embarrassment.
As many of us grow older, we try less and less so we can avoid the embarrassment that we may face. In all reality, what may be more embarrassing is never trying at all and never advancing in life. Successful people fail more than they succeed, because they know the only way to advance in life is to test the boundaries, time and time again.
Those with “TRUE POWER” live by the words of Henry Ford: “FAILURE IS MERELY AN OPPORTUNITY TO MORE INTELLIGENTLY BEGIN AGAIN.” I wish you a great week. Questions and comments are welcomed at here or follow me on Twitter @DaymondJohnFubu

“I HEARD”…This week think about how many times people judged you, discarded you or disrespected you due to a rumor they didn’t have the actual facts about! How did you feel? Did you ever recover from it? Or did it not only hurt you, but your family and the ones you love as well?
Everyday you will be faced with facts and rumors. For example, this past week several facts have come out that will change our lives: 1. Congress passed an $800 billion dollar economic plan; 2. Bank CEOs faced Capital Hill to explain how they spent taxpayer dollars; 3. The Dow Jones Industrial dropped below 8000 points. Even though these facts will change how we live, the main topic in the news that people are forming opinions about is Chris brown and Rihanna!
The “fact” is that nobody besides those two individuals knows what happened that night and we need to consider that both of their reputations and careers that took years to build are on the line! Domestic violence is a tragedy no matter which person in the relationship throws the first blow. That’s why this serious situation shouldn’t be left up to speculation! Those with “TRUE POWER” know that the only absolute truth to a rumor is “I HEARD”. Please consider this before you judge without the facts, because we all know how it feels to be on the receiving end.
Have a great week.

GAME OF LIFE: When you deal with other people in your day to day life, you always try to analyze why a person did this, did that, said this or said that. You analyze these actions to get a better angle on a situation and the insight to gain the upper hand. When the actions that others take are not in your best interest or are disrespectful, it can mentally take you off your game and actually give them the upper hand due to the anger that will cloud your judgment.
Think about it: when you play chess and the person on the other side of the board makes a move, do you get angry? Do you get offended? Do you walk away? No, because you understand their goal is to win the game and that’s why they made that particular move. Keep this in mind and you will often be able to respond to situations with clarity.
People with “TRUE POWER” know that: “IN THE GAME OF LIFE, EVERYBODY IS PLAYING TO WIN”.
The next move will be yours! Have a great week.

HOW? vs. WHY? This week, when you head to work or to whatever drives you, take a moment to think about how you got to this point in life. How will youhandle this week? How will you move forward in the future? Once you’ve conqueredthe how, the more important question will be…why?! Why did you take those
actions?
Why will you handle what you will handle this week? Why will you move forward in the future? A man with power schooled me once to an important way to look at life. He told me that people with power know that “THOSE WHO KNOW HOW, WILL ALWAYS HAVE A JOB! BUT THOSE WHO KNOW WHY WILL ALWAYS BE THEIR BOSSES”!
I wish you a great week and as I search for the reason why, I hope you find it as well!
