That is amazingly true. But for many people this comes out of not having a solid direction or tangible examples to emulate. I think Daymond and other individuals like him make positive examples for people who are naturally driven and focused. For the other level of individuals they need closer examples like people in their community or ones they have grown up with. One of the biggest problems is that the influences that are most accessible to these individuals are the negative ones.

Its a chain-reaction. That being said we like the people reading and being encouraged by this Daymond John post have to do our part in transferring the inspiration down the line. Not everyone might read this post or be inspired by Daymond but I’m pretty sure those that do probably have someone in their own lives they can influence or inspire. So pass it on.

I agree, whenever I’m around someone who even looks like they don’t have anything to do…I ask them, “You need something to do, cause I can definitely hand over something for you to do.” I find that even when I work for others, there is always something to do…always, always, always. And I agree; someone with something to do even when a task hasn’t directly been assigned to them is definitely someone to keep around. Now you just have to keep an eye out on the bullshitters who claim they have something and aren’t doing shit!
